Well, 1006 miles to be precise ~ 5 days round trip, down south and back again…. Christmas is often about family and mine are scattered. Stayed with family in deepest Sussex and each morning over Christmas drove around the M23, London Orbital M25 and A3 to deepest Surrey, taking my mother to visit my father, and then in the afternoon drove all the way back again. 60 miles each way. Great to see a full church last night, despite the wind and rain, for the Sedbergh Carol Service, all 19 churches in the area of every denomination represented ~ YES! Last week’s snow has mostly gone, and yesterday was sunny and clear all day ~ yippee! A whole day on the Howgill Fells, all along the ridge to Fell End, back to the Calf and down by Cautley Spout, England highest waterfall and back along to Sedbergh. Beautiful!
