Conwy Castle, N. Wales

En route to Anglesey today and just had to stop at Conwy Castle for a visit, just FANTASTIC!  A real castle, not just an old ruin, with views so magnificent of the Conwy Estuary, out to sea and all over the hills.  Oh yes and a walk around the Conwy Town Walls and saw the smallest house in Britain ~ such a beautiful town. In fact just like a mini Chester! Sorry to have to admit it, but it’s my first visit to Wales for 25 years, truly disgraceful. Chester ~ must see!

En route to Chester yesterday, stopped to go up Helsby Hill for glorious views over the Mersey, and even in the distance to Liverpool Cathedral……. Today ~ a beautiful sunny day in the city of Chester ~ walking around the old city walls, passing Britain’s oldest racecourse, the old bridge over the River Dee, the canal, Roman ruins, old city centre and the cathedral. Very highly recommended ~ going up Chester Cathedral tower. CMS Link Visit to Holy Trinity Church, Huddersfield

Fantastic church, wonderful people, and a whole lot of lovely new Chinese friends! My links with Huddersfield go back years and years, and Holy Trinity Church, just north of the centre of the town, has always been really supportive of CMS ~ and of me too!
