And another big milestone is reached, another group of SJU graduates is launched ~ ‘n many congratulations to them all!
Today’s graduation was spectacular, as always – faculty and students gathered in gowns and mortar boards, parents and friends gathered with bunches of flowers and balloons, and the procession into the hall was led by 3 of our student fellowship students carrying the cross and 2 candles, and followed at the very end by chaplain Rev. Lennon Chang and Bishop Lai.
We were delighted that our lovely friend, Su-Chin, who runs around the campus every day cleaning and sweeping and always smiling – her daughter graduated too, many congratulations!
One of the highlights was our former student fellowship leader Tzu-Yang (Mark) who was one of two students presented with the TaiCUCA (Taiwan Christian Universities and Colleges Alliance 台灣基督宗教大學校院聯盟) Award. He wrote his testimony a few months ago, you can read it here on my CMS Link Letter, so it was wonderful that he could receive this award, and that his parents and brother could also attend today’s graduation. It was great to see so many parents and families. We even had a whole group of our friends from Keelung here to support 2 of their youth group members who graduated 🙂
And here’s the student fellowship group trying to throw their mortar boards in the air – not easy to do and to smile at the same time!
A wonderful day ~ blessings on all those who have graduated today ~ farewell and best wishes, we’ll miss you, but come back and visit us often!
