And what a wonderful event it was! As always, St. James’ Preschool / Kindergarten, Taichung put on a spectacular all-singing-all-dancing Christmas extravaganza for all the children to take part in ~ magical, and such fun! Two long months of rehearsals for about 3 minutes of performance for each class, but it was oh, so worth it ~ the children were delightful, even the few who cried all the way through, or who stood motionless throughout ~ next year, they’ll be fine, honest! Supermaster and his Superfriends were in action last night at last ~ YES! After 2 long months of rehearsals and preparation, their moment in the spotlight finally arrived ~ and what a great moment it was! We will bear a much more comforting witness to someone facing deep loss by simply being with them, and in so doing, representing God Emmanuel – God with us – by our being with them. Today was our get-together ‘Happy Ending’ lunch to mark the end of another wonderful semester of Community English Class at Advent Church ~ and what a great lunch it was! Thanks to all who came and all who worked so hard to make such delicious food! Here we all are, including specially invited guests, Rev.
