Welcoming Mike and Harriet to Taiwan ~ YES!

Just such lovely visitors, as always! Harriet’s just finished her G.S.C.E’s, so what better treat than to come to visit Taiwan with her dad ~ YES!  First met in Tanzania many years ago ~ and now the family belongs to one of my CMS link churches, St. John’s, Neville’s Cross, Durham ~ such a wonderful church! Well it was definitely quite a week!  Accompanied Christina and Matisse on their first few days in Taiwan, firstly in Taichung at St. James’ Church and Preschool ~ where amazing welcomes awaited them, St. James at its best! And then to Taipei for a nonstop 2 days, accompanied by student Jenny… Friday ~ St. John’s University, Beitou Hot Springs, Taipei 101, tea with Bishop Lai, Tamsui Old Street for massage and ice-cream… Saturday ~ swimming in the sea at Baishawan, Taipei City – Presidential Palace, C.K.S. Welcoming Christina and Matisse to Taiwan!

Such a great partnership between St. James’ Preschool, Taichung and Cambridge-Ellis School (CES) in Boston, USA means that every summer we have the honour of welcoming 2 of their lovely teachers to join us for 2 months… So off I went to the airport last night to welcome the CES teachers for summer 2014, Christina and Matisse, fresh off a flight from London via Dubai… both smiling away!
