A visit to the NE of England is never complete without a must-go visit to Durham and especially Durham Cathedral ~ and yesterday was the day! The cathedral was looking great, even covered in scaffolding, and the views and reflections from the river were stunning.
Even got to Evensong which was a treat!
My good friends, Mike and his daughter Harriet, who came to visit Taiwan in the summer, also live in Durham. Check out their visit to Taiwan here – what a great time we all had!
And here they are last Saturday, all the family, along with Chen Yin-an, one of our church members from Good Shepherd Church, Taipei, who’s now studying in Durham University. Had a great lunch altogether ~ they’ve all become good friends, so wonderful.

Thanks for all the e mails but my computer went on holiday hence I have not written to tell you that I have been to Stratford -on-Avon ,Burford andI can’t read my writing but I agree they are beautiful places..Where will you be for Christmas and do you want a calendar???Having a mix up of weather as lok forward to Christmas.David and Blair are coming for 3 weeks so that is great.
